Compatibility Issues

I just purchase the netgear AC1900. I currently and using the hitron CDA3-35 modem. For some reason or another it's not getting the internet to the router to project the wifi. Just wanting to know if it's a compatibility issue and need to upgrade the modem.

    For clarification, exactly what AC1900 do you have? What is on the box?

      Power off your modem. Wait about 5 minutes, then power your modem back on. Wait for you modem to come back online, then ***power on the NG router. Run Internet Set up Wizard (page 22 router manual). ***Before you power on your NG router, ensure you have a Ethernet cable (min CAT5e / CAT6) cabled from WAN / Internet port from the NG router, to the Ethernet port on the Hitron modem. Also, Ethernet cable a laptop to a LAN port on the NG router.

       

      Don't forget to change the default router login password and default wifi passphrases.
