Login Denied on Nighthawk App

I just got a new Samsung S24+ (Model SM-S926U, Hardware version REV1.0, Android 14) and am signing into all of the apps. I went to sign into the NETGEAR Nighthawk WiFi Router app (Version 2.40.0.4040) and got the message, "Login denied. We're sorry, your login attempt was denied. Try logging in again." Before I get the login denied message, the a previous screen flashes the message "We don't recognize this device" with something about sending a code that will disappear, then there's a count down. I can't really see what the code is or where it's being sent because it flashes too quickly, but it's not being texted to me or going to email, so I assume it's a push to my old phone, which seems like something Netgear would do... So now I'm stuck in this loop of trying again. I've done all the silly things I shouldn't have to do, force stop, clear cache, clear data, allow all the access, etc. I even re-downloaded the app, even though it was freshly downloaded 'cause it's a new phone. I don't have a CAT cable to connect to the AC1900 (C7000), so I'm not sure what to do next to make this phone a trusted device or simply access the AC1900.

I did what you suggested, but it didn't like my password for the router so I couldn't reset. In one last attempt, what I ended up doing was asking for the one time temporary password that Netgear will email to you to try to access the app. I'm 100% certain I was using the correct one before... That let me into the app, kinda, because for some strange reason, the app requested that I do what you essentially described, which was to do the reset, before I could use the app. This time it liked the password, so I reset it to the exact same password and I was in the app fine! I logged back out, used what I knew was my password, and it let me in fine on the new phone... Just in case this happens again, I believe I could go to "192.168.0.1" in a browser and use the Netgear Genie to get back into the router as long as the phone is already connected to the WiFi. Thank you for your help.
