Parental control not working
I set up the parental Controls on the Open DNS. They worked fine the first day. My teenager found the password and now the parental Controls don't work. I've changed the password, but that has NOT helped.
Am I to presume any device can download the Netgear Genie app and alter original settings? If so, that seems to defeat the purpose. If one could block other mobile devices from changing settings, that seems to be a better option. I changed the password for the Open DNS login, but nothing has changed as far as time control or website blocking.
I've tried Custom settings and high settings, but I can still access adult sites, social media, chat, etc.

Hi PhillipF,
1. What is the model number and firmware version of the router?
2. We recommend installing the NETGEAR Genie on a device that only you have access to after changing the password.
3. Did you modify the settings via https://netgear.opendns.com/sign_in.php?
4. What device are you using to change the filtering level (PC, Android, iOS)?
