Lose Internet as soon as I connect OpenVPN

You all remember me configuring MR60 for VPN Service.  I established the Public IP address and DNS.  When I connect OpenVPN from my MacBook,  I lose Internet in my MacBook.  I look under Port Forwarding/ Port Triggering.  Unfortunately,  I did not capture when I have done there.  It is blank.  Is that the reason why I am not able to connect to Internet from my MacBook?

Thank you,

Mustafa

    More information, please....

When a MacBook is connected to the local network, it cannot run OpenVPN because OpenVPN is designed to provide access FROM a device on the Internet TO the local network (and devices that are connected to the local network).  Some implementations of OpenVPN have options:

Notice that my VPN is set to allow the VPN connection to be used for both the Home Network and the Internet

OpenVPN also requires that the Home Network be a different IP subnet than the local network that the remote computer (MacBook?) is connected to.

If they are both 192.168.1.x, for example, it is not clear which network  is which.
