MR60 Mesh Wifi, Red Light

OK Folks, the Mesh WiFi 6 Router has a solid red light, but shouldn't it be green? I have wifi / internet access on the desktop so it is working.

Am I good? If not what do I do now? I unplugged it to reset, still the red light. What else can I try?

    Should be BLUE for good status and connection to ISP modem.

    What Firmware version is currently loaded?
    What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
    Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended. 

     

    Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed since last update?
    Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
    Turn off and unplug modem.
    Turn off router and computers.
    Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
    Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
    Turn on computers and rest of network.

      Darn I suspected I'd be asked techy things that I can't answer ..

       

      Firmware, how do I find the version? It's never been updated, at least not by me. How do I update this?

       

      yes I've unplugged both the modem and the modem twice.

        Log into the MRs web page with a web browser at 192.168.1.1 to see version #

         

         

        What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

         

        Let us know FW version first before updating it. 

        Do you have any MS satellites deployed as well?

  • No progress, I'm tired trying to get this fixed, the light only goes red every week or so, so I just reset the router. Not a big deal, I appreciate everyone's effort to help me with this!
