MR60 Router Only Connects limited devices to WIFI but not to Internet after Power Outage
MR60 Firmware Version V1.1.7.134_2.0.65, 2 Satellites with latest firmware as well.
A little over a week ago, we had a brief 20 minute power outage. Upon powering back up, we had no internet connection with any of the devices, wifi or wired. Our phones were connect to the router but had no connection. Rebooting the router multiple times and powering off every device in the house and restarting the ISP modem, router and devices in multiple different orders did nothing. Even after resetting to defaults and restoring the wireless settings still had the same issue. I managed to catch my daughters laptop saying that IP lookup failed or lookup table fail. What ended up allowing devices to connect to the internet via wired connection or wireless was to change the password. This is not a sustainable solution, to reset the wireless password every time the power goes out. Wondering if setting all stationary devices to static IP's to alleviate the surge of lookup requests when powering back on. If its a single device that is causing the issues?

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.Does the front LED on the MR turn AMBER when this happens? Should be BLUE. Same for MS, they should be blue as well after a short period of time when they come online and connect to the MR.
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.

Be sure to disable any MAC Address randomizers on phones and pads while at home:

Yes the lights will turn blue. As I mentioned in another reply, I changed the password back to the original after adding some devices back and it did the same thing. It only connects a limited number then nothing gets an IP and when assigning a static IP i can talk to the router but not internet.

Sounds like a possible interoperability issue between the MR and your ISP modem/ONT. May not be fully connecting properly during a power outage and everything comes back ON.

Did that include the recommended reboot regime?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
- Turn off and unplug modem.
- Turn off router and computers.
- Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
- Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
- Turn on computers and rest of network.
Just another user with time on their hands.

Yes that is the order I tried multiple times. Just as a followup, I changed the password BACK to the original and it hung again. So it is not our Iphones, Ipads or nintendos. It has to be something with home devices such as smart wall switches or cameras. There is a device that when it tries to connect it makes the system crap out. OR its multiple devices trying to get through at the same time. I would have thought this would have been stopped because at one point I had almost every breaker off in the entire house. I guess I am just relegated to adding devices to the network and cycling power to the MR60 until I find out which one is causing the issue.
