Netgear MR60 won't connect to new wifi network

Switching from Starlink to T Mobile wifi with existing MR60 with two satelites. When I connect the ethernet cable to the T Mobile Router and open the Netgear app on my phone it says it can't find your Router error message. My phone is set to the TMobile source and that's good. Went to the Netgear settings on my phone and it was as before which allows Netgear access. I've tried rebooting but nothing. Any help would be appreciated! Thx

Thx Furry I will check with T Mobile but I have  a friend who has a non Netgear Mesh system attached and works fine without doing anything.

And I'm also screwed because none of my different browsers will open up that page to log into. Instead opens up a generic Netgear page with support options. So can't get into that page.

So that means pretty much trashing the Netgerar MR60. Very disappointed that Netgear doesn't stand by their products with non-paid tech support especially given how expensive their systems are. If I decide to buy another mesh system it definitely won't be Netgear.  Anyhow thank you for taking your time to try and help. I really appreciate it!! Take care and be well.

        Couple of options,
        1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the NG router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
        2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the NG router gets from the modem. https://kb.netgear.com/25891/DMZ-on-NETGEAR-routers
        https://kb.netgear.com/24086/How-do-I-set-up-a-default-DMZ-server-on-my-Nighthawk-router
        3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the NG router to the modem, LAN to LAN configure AP mode on the NG router.

If the MK  system was working before you changed to T-Mobile, I would not jump to conclusions of it being a NG issue. I have this same system and it does work in router and AP modes. However I don't have this T-Mobile router. Again, something to contact T-Mobile about to see if they can help as well. Maybe ask your friend how they set there non mesh router up with there mobile router.

I'd factory reset the MR and setup from scratch, 192.168.1.1 should be accessible when it's not connected to any ISP modem.

It seems odd to suggest that you talk to T Mobile before even beginning to diagnose what is happening at your end. Can you explain a bit more about what is going on here?

Trying to get routers to play nicely with mobile networks isn't always easy. You need to track down where the obstacles are.  Most Netgear users have conventional Internet services with modems or, increasingly, an optical network termination (ONT).

What are you connecting with? T Mobile is a network, not a device. So what hardware is feeding the MR60? Is it some sort of mobile access point?

The message you describe sounds like something that you see on a mobile app. If so, it might be a good idea to try to get into the MR60 with the browser graphical user interface (GUI).

As you have changed your network, you might also want to reset the router so that to forgets its Starlink settings.

Odd? Diagnosis is as described. T Mobile offers a router to use to connect wirelessly to their 5g network for internet access. So I connected the MR60 to the new TM Router and Netgear couldn't find TM despite being connected via ethernet. Attempted to start from scratch to set up a new connection and no luck. ANd  for whatever reason even after clearing my Firefox browser cache I couldn't log into the netgear mesh admin page to see what that showed. I even installed Edge and still couldn't access the router log in page.

So now my plan is to reset the MR60 and go through the laborious process of syncing the satellites to the MR60 and go from there. And if that doesn't work I will be donating the mesh system to my trash can and find something that doesn't require a Masters Degree in Electronics and is simply plug and play.

So the Diagnosis, send for the Priest and maintain life support until he arrives. Have a great weekend ahead and stay well!

        And that router is?

If it really is a router as well as a modem, then you need to work out how to get the MR60 to work alongside another router.

Putting two routers together is fraught with problems.

Did you read the messages from FURRYe38 ?

They also pint out the issues that you face when trying tom pile rouyter ion router.

Feel free to blame Netgear for everything, but in the final analysis it boils down to persuading the Netgear router to work with the anonymous box from T Mobile. Have you tried asking them for help in using a secondary router with their hardware?
