Nighthawk MR60 cannot download vpn config files

Hi all,

 

I just bought a netgear MR60 with firmware V1.0.6.102_2.0.45 and want to use the vpn, for that I need to download the ovpn config files but that is not possible....  I click on the button but nothing happens :smileysad:. One of the reasons I bought this one (update my old R7000) and the same VPN service on my MR60 but since I cannot download, no vpn is possible...:smileymad:

Is there a bug of some kind? Am I doing something wrong?

    I assume that you have read the VPN bit in the manual.

     

    Visit the support pages:

    Support | NETGEAR

    Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.

    You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.

     

    You have posted your message in the section of this community given over to Nighthawk WiFi Routers. (This is easily done, given Netgear's impenetrable community structure.)

    You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers about your hardware, in the appropriate section for your device. That's probably here:

      You mean: "7. Click the For non-Windows button to download the OpenVPN configuration files." On page 107 of the manual? the concept of Read the **bleep**ing Manual is very well known to me.... If you don't have anything to add then don't add at All...

        Given you failure to find the right place to ask about your device, I think I can be forgiven for assuming that attention to detail is not one of your strengths.

         

        Are you also too proud to search the community for messages that might be related to your problem?

         

        You may have a hard time here if throwing around insults is your idea of a reasonable response to people who offer help.

    Same problem here,

    After following all steps in the manual, not able to download the config files needed to setup the VPN connection.

    Tried different devices, and different browsers.

    DDNS is already enabled and set up since this is required for the MR60 VPN.

    Also the button checks if DDNS is enabled when you click it.

    Still, nothing happens if i press the button.

     

    Anyone been able to come up with a solution for this problem?
