Netgear XR700 Sluggish Performance and Losing WAN

Question

Having a few issues with the router done the same test with a R7000 with Merlin&nbsp; WRT and there are no issues..
&nbsp;
Is this expected performance fto 100% cpu from a xr700 downloading a single torrent file?

This usually ends up with a locked router admin page and a reboot is required.
&nbsp;
On Latest firmware and done factory reset.

No DHT is to do with Torrents that don't have a single tracker. I'd probably leave this enabled.
UTP is a uTorrent feature that slows down your torrents so that they don't interrupt your other networking activities.
But for the sake of the test you should disable it so that you get the maximum speeds.
If you don't have UTP then don't worry.

I flashed the firmware via TFTP and since that flash all has been good.

This sounds like something you might need to contact NETGEAR support about. This router should be able to handle much more than you're throwing at it here.

Try downgrading FW to&nbsp;1.0.0.20
What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?
&nbsp;
FYI, (x)WRT is not supported on the R7000...So test comparison isn't really valid.&nbsp;

On your torrent client could you disable uTp please and redo the test, does it work correctly then?
