Night hawk x500 connection to NBN

Hello. I have recently moved into a new property and have had satellite NBN installed. The tech was on site today and indicated that the NBN is installed and receiving data.
I connected my X500 to the NBN box and ran the setup wizard and can not connect to the internet.
I spoke to the ISP and went through their trouble shooting and still nothing.
Having read some of the forums here, it appears that I need to set a few parameters manually on the x500 but can not quite follow them.
Can you please advise what I need to do to get the X500 to talk to the NBN box ?

    Problem solved.
I changed the bridge control Settings in the router and it has worked a treat.
    All up and running now.

  • Do you know if you require anything such as PPPoE, VLAN, DHCP identifiers etc for a connection? If not you may need to ask the ISP about this. Are you connecting direct to the NBN Box or do you have a modem/router provided by them as well?

Hi there. I’m just connecting straight to the NBN box
The guy at Harvey Norman said that the X500 could just plug straight in.
My ISP provides a username and password which I have entered.
I did a reboot of everything again and tried to re run the setup wizard on the router but it says that I have no internet connection

Go through the setup wizard, skip everything if needed as you won't get a connection until you finish that anyway. Then in Settings > Internet Setup choose no login, then apply, see if you get a connection. If not, select login and enter the details you were given, apply, see if you get a connection.
