Slow WIFi speed
Dear Community,
I have the NetGear XR500 gaming version but there is some problem with my internet range and upload speed.
speedtest result: http://www.speedtest.net/result/7361170157
Ranger is very bad and the upload speed is terrible any solutions here?
Tried following:
Upgrading and factory reset - works since its a bit faster.

- What are the speeds you are expecting? It is likely you have QoS enabled which limits your speed to ensure no local congestion. For range I’d suggest disabling smart connect, then you can connect to 5Ghz which has increased range.
- Everything works fine even the upload speed when i’m connecting wireless to the 5G network but when the LAN cable is plugged in the upload speed slows down.
- That sounds almost exclusively like the LAN cable is the issue, do you have another one that you can use to see if that resolves the issue?
