Hardware issue
Recently we returned from a trip, now our ORBI satellite seems to be an issue, the connected camera goes out (off line) although when we sync the unit all comes back as it should. Netgear representative indicated that with no issue lights the unit is working perfect. Anyone experiencing the same issue. Second issue (seems this ORBI has issues that are adding age. We have one system in NJ the other in DE, now the ORBI system is asking for an Admin password, none of the logged (recorded) passwords work, any suggestions that don't require a reset.
Thanks

It sometimes helps to know the specific model of Orbi system.
When a person attempts to log onto the web interface and the password is rejected three times in a row, the system offers a Password Recovery page which requires the router serial number (to ensure that the person actually HAS that specific router) and correct answers to some "security questions".
Unfortunately, many users did not actually complete the recovery information when the system was originally configured, and thus the process fails. They think, "Hey, I KNOW my brother's first name!!!" but do not realize that they were supposed to have activated the Drop Down Manu, deliberately selected that question, and filled in the correct response.
If Password Recovery fails, the only alternative is a Factory Reset.

The ORBI36 with the issue is connected to a Verizon modem, although the camera goes out, comes back, goes out. The issue, unable to see the ORBI application on the phone, it is attempting to connect with our other ORBI system in DE. Seems ORBI can be a good alternative with extenders are required, the downside is ORBI is not the system when different states are involved. I will continue to work on some options. You would think ORBI would be able to reset the admin password, maybe they will work on that along with outlining the recovery steps required with set up. Any possible solutions to our issue are appreciated.

Appreciate all the suggestions. Seems ORBI units are unable to determine if working perfect. ORBI tech say if the green power light is on the unit is working perfect. I was able to relocate the satellite which did help the camera. Guess its the best they have. On the network issue, I have determined that when using different states along with different network providers (xfinity-verizon) you only can access the ORBI system when you are near the router (nj ORBI will display the NJ ORBI system, when in DE, ORBI will display only the DE system) This is something Netgear needs to disclose. When in NJ, we are unable to access the DE ORBI system, also the password would be linked to the DE modem and not able to be validated by the NJ modem. Seems Netgear has some work ahead. I have been busy learning alot over the last few months, I am determined to keep investigating the issues for answers. Hope this can help other users of the ORBI product.
