RBE971 Wrong Satellite Count
Dear Community,
Following to an RMA I received a replacement RBE971 , only router without satellite.
After the installation in Orbi App (iOS), it showed (1/2 Satellites) and the UI shows (Searching for satellites).
However I only have 1 satellite (from my original 2 pack kit).
In WebUI, I only see the connected unique satellite and I can’t found any trace of this second ghost satellite.
After full reset and reinstalling , I still have same issue.
Is there a way to correct the behavior of OrbiApp ?
Or is this a UI bug on Orbi App?
PS : As I received only the router as RMA , I suspect that the received device was the router of a 3P pack and OrbiApp thinks that it’s still the case due to its serial number.
In addition to the Factory Reset, it might be a good idea to delete and reinstall the Orbi 'app'.
Does this replacement router now appear as registered to your Netgear account?
