Wifi device names in ORBI App as N/A

After latest FW update of my ORBI setup and I am using latest Orbi app on iPhone too: the names of the devices attached to Wifi (either 2.4g or 5g network) now displayed as N/A, though correctly shown on the Orbi admin web page. What is this?

  • Update: what worked for me was to delete the Orbi app, including its data, and re-install from the App Store. It will require to login again to the Netgear account, and then will find Orbi on the local network and will prompt to login as Admin. Now device names are correctly displayed.

  • If would be useful to know specifics:

    • Which model of Orbi?
    • Which specific firmware release number? ("latest" is ambiguous)
    • Which specific Orbi app for iOS release number?

Unless I am reading the web site incorrectly, the current firmware for the RBS750 satellite that is bundled with the CBR750 router is:

Netgear has created quite a bit of confusion by using two different firmware versions for the RVS750 satellite:

        • 4.6.14.3 when bundled with the RBR750 router,
        • 4.6.5.14 when bundled with the CBR750 router.

I would try manually loading 4.6.5.14 on the satellites and see what happens.

  • Hi Kelly, did you managed to resolve this issue?

I am facing the same problem and the suggested solution does not resolve this issue.

Does anybody have any other ideas?

    Thanks.
