Can't Connect Epson WF-3520 to Orbi AX4200

We just bought and installed the Orbi AX4200 and so far it has been working ok with the exception of our printer. Our Epson WF-3520 printer can't connect even after resetting the wifi settings to default and trying to reestablish a new connection. It sees three networks and not matter which one we try to connect it won't connect. I've tried changing each security protocol and trying to connect without any sucess. I tried changing the channel to 11 for the 2.4ghz and it won't connect. I've tried disabling the AX feature and it won't  connect. Does anyone have any suggestions or is the printer just too old and we have to spend some more money again? Thanks

  • Try setting the CTS value from 64 to 2347 and see if the printer will connect. Try with no wifi security temporarily on the RBR to see if the printer will connect to the open SSID. Then try WPA then WPA2. Do not select WPA3.

Be sure the printers FW is updated as well.

Contact the pritners mfr for additional help and information regardin there product as they will have more troubleshooting information.

If all else fails, use the LAN port on the printer to connect to the Orbi system.

Thanks for your suggestions but I have tried them all without any success. The firmware is up to date and relocating the printer so it's next to a satellite is not an option.

      Any other recommendations?

      Thank you

Epson was of no help other than to suggest buying a newwer printer, go figure. Moving the printer to a wired connection is not an option. Can anyone else help before I pay out more money for having a "better" wi-fi network? Thanks

Is the printer not in range of the RBR or RBS to connect it using the ethernet cable?

Do you happen to have your prior wifi router by chance?
