Rbk763 and Bryant Connex Thermostat
Previously, using RBK753, The issues of connecting the Connex was solved by the following:
So, currently these are the settings that are working:
1. AX disabled for the 2.4ghz band
2. RTS/CTS set to 2347
3. Thermostat IP address reserved on the RBR
4. Static IP on the thermostat set to the reserved IP< Set the Thermostat to Auto, It's not recommended or normal practice to set a static IP address to same IP address reservation ON the router.
Just installed the RBK763 and again, the Connex won't connect. On the RBK763, the CTS value cannot be changed (I've looked for it but looks like this is no longer a user option). The other changes have been made as noted above.
My next move might be to add an extender just to get the Connex online but I'm really hoping for an Orbi setting.

After trying all previous steps to get the Connex to connect, I was going to set up an old 2.4ghz extender. Due to other commitments I didn't get around to setting up the extender. Last night, I found that the Connex had joined the Wifi and was accessible.
I haven't made any changes to the Orbi or the Connex settings in the past week so this is a mystery.
But somehow Connex is capable of figuring out how to connect to Orbi 763 without doing anything special to the Orbi or the Connex. It took a week but it sorted itself out.
Something to try next time, turn OFF ALL RBS and see if the next device or what you are trying to connect can connect. Possible that some devices have problems seeing multitudes of wifi signals and can't lock on.

That was the first thing that I did. Not my first rodeo trying to get this thermostat connected to Orbis.

On my RBK853, when having these problems, I would try to back off everything to do with 5G. Turn its power way down and 2.4 way up. Turn off all the New Gen Toys on the 2.4, on for 5G and that usually made it easier.

Tha was the second thing that I did. Didn't help.
Previously, the only adjustment that seemed to work reliably was changing the CTS/RTS but the RBS760 doesn't appear to expose this setting via the app or web page.
The Connex has been jumping on and off the mesh so I think I'm back to adding an extender with a different ssid and only 2.4 enabled. Hate to do it but not replacing the $700 thermostat until it is dead.
