RBKE960 Apple iPhone/iPad Connection constantly drops
Hi, I have a RBKE963 w/2 satellites-great network speed. My wife's iPad Air (5th gen) and iPhone12 constantly lose the wifi signal. All the devices run the latest IOS. We have tried cold restarts on the Apple devices but it still happens. I do not have a problem with my iPhone 13 mini and our Lenovo Thinkpads are rock solid.
I just compared her iPhone wifi settings to mine and they are identical:
Auto-Join--ON
Low Data Mode--OFF
Private Wi-Fi Address--ON
Limit IP Address Tracking--ON
IPV4 Configure IP--Automatic
Configure DNS--Automatic
Configure Proxy--OFF
Any ideas??
Marc

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended. Is Armor enabled by chance?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.
https://kb.netgear.com/31029/Where-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite 🛰️What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?Be sure to check out the WiFi Private IP address options on Apple devices. Disable this while at home on the home network, Not need while at home. Keep this disabled on mine. Have no issues with my Apple devices with my 9 series connected.

Try disabling private mac/ip address on it. Plus icloud relay if you're using it.
What firmware is on the router and the satellites?
What modem/gateway is the orbi connected to?

Disabling those options on my iPhone made no difference, the disconnections kept happening.
What fixed it for me was running both my satellites as wireless. Previously I'd had one connected wirelessly and one via Ethernet, that configuration seemed to be what was causing the issue.
