What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.
Your behind on FW. v.7.x is most current FW. v.21 was most stable. v.31 has IPv6 problems.
Wireless speeds is around good specs for wireless devices. What I saw with my Mac Book Pro 2018 while connected to my 850 series. Pretty good for that device.

I understand that you are having issues with your RBR/RBS850 due to experiencing lower than expected speeds on firmware version 4.6.9.11. The downgrade in network speeds occurs when the system is on a dated firmware. Your RBR/RBS850 is not able to pull the latest firmware due to it being out of date. Please download the most recent firmware to resolve this issue.
Please navigate to the knowledge based article below for step by step instructions on how to upgrade your Orbi mesh network system (Ensure to upgrade the satellite before the router. Upgrading the router first may create compatibility issues due to interim periods of being on different firmware.):

I've updated to the latest firmware and am stilling seeing degraded speeds compared to speeds at the Modem. Any other ideas?
