Sporadic connectivity Issues - RBR750

Hi,

I've been having two strange issues with my orbi. They don't seem related, but they both lead me to believe something is up with my Orbi. Curious to know if anyone else has had this issue. I'm on my last straw and am thinking to get a new router, but it's a shame to let a nice system like this go to waste.

Issue 1 - Occasionally, sites will fail to connect. In chrome, this shows up as a ERR_CONNECTION_RESET, but if I'm using command line (curl -v website.com), it does a valid DNS lookup but then fails to connect to the IP. This goes away by refreshing the page, but is problematic for cellphones/apps that don't have the retry logic. This happens for both ethernet connected devices and wifi devices. I've confirmed this isn't an issue with my ISP because I can't reproduce it if I connect directly to the ONT.

Issue 2 - After some time (about 30 minutes after the router restarts), my upload speed drops from 9XX mb/s to ~4xx mb/s. The upload speed is measured from the router itself using the speedtest. If i restart the router, the upload speed gets back to the expected . I've factory reset the router and disconnected all devices and was still able to see this issue. If I directly connect to the ONT, I get ~1gbit up and down.

Steps I've tried:

* Updated firmware to 7.2.6.21. Didn't solve the issue, but was when I first noticing issue #1.

* Factory reset the orbi + satellites. In the meantime, I've disconnected the satellites

* Disconnected all devices. I still saw the issue.

* Downgrade firmware back to 4.6.14.3. This solved issue #1 for a little, but it's back

* Disabled access control

* Changed DNS servers to 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8. Then 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

* Disabled 20/40 coexistence

* Changed CTS to 2347

* Changed preamble mode to short preamble

Thanks in advance

    Does this happen across difference PCs and laptops or devices?

    Does this happen with both wireless and wired devices?

    What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
    Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.

    Be sure to disable any MAC Address randomizers on phones and pads while at home:

      Yes, using a CAT6 cable. I've tried using multiple cables and all lead to the same outcome.

      This happens on a wired device without a MAC address randomizer.

      Try disabling the following and see:

      All are disabled.
