UPNP not successful Orbi 960

I’ve started having issues with my NAT type on my Xbox Series X. When I go to my network settings I see my NAT type as moderate and get an UPNP not successful. I’ve gone into my admin portal and made sure it was open there, tried port forwarding and that’s not working either. Any help is appreciated.

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.

PF configurations is not needed on the RBR...if you do configure PF configurations, be sure to disable uPnP on the RBR.

Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed since last update?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
    Turn off and unplug modem.
    Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.

      Thanks for the response.

      My firmware version is 6.3.7.10_3.3.3

I don’t have a router from my ISP, I live in an apartment building where internet is included from a company called everywhere wireless and have my Orbi connected directly to an Ethernet jack.

I thought about cables, I haven’t upgraded them in a while but this seems to be a new issue that just started in the last few weeks. Still plan to get updated cables regardless.

I’ll try the steps you outlined below and see if that does the trick.

It would be helpful if you can compare:

If the Orbi address is a 'private address', then UPnP is not going to work.
