wired backhaul setup for orbi 753
Hello!
I have a question for you: i want to replace my old network setup with a mesh system from netgear ( orbi rbk 753). Basically i want to change the current router with Orbi router and then via the lan cbles marked with "x" to plug the 2 sattelites to form a mesh network for a wider wireless cover. Can i keep the switch or must i plug in the cables for the sattelites in the Orbi router?
Thanks!

Yes you can use a switch in between the RBR and RBS.
NON Managed switch is recommended. NG GS-105/108v4 and GS308v3, D-Link DGS-105/108 and HP ProCurve 1400/1800 series switches work for Orbi systems.
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.
I have the

Check it out and see if it works. Seen some non managed switches with Green Ethernet features cause problems with Orbi systems. Hopefully this will work though.
