Devices on network not showing up

Orbi 970 1 router 4 Satellites Firmware V9.13.2.1

Why do I have wireless devices on my network which dont show up on the web interface or in the mobile app

They previously shown and are connected now (for over 1 hour) as the device is working and it still does not show up...

I have cleared the cache rebooted the device - no change

Makes me think what other device could  be connected that I dont know about....

Is this a security bug?

Thanks

Nobber

  • What brand and model# wireless devices are not showing up?

Does this happen with the RBS turned OFF?
Does this happen with both wireless and wired devices?
What channel configurations are currently set on the router?

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router 📡 and satellite(s)🛰️? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR 📡 and RBS 🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.

  • Thanks I get why you ask all the questions but this device is 1 metre away from the the Router and I have an identical device next to it BOTH are connected and working

    Firmware as above

The router is bridged through a BT Business Smart Hub

Not sure why I need to switch off the Satellite...

Just to confirm the device IS Connected to the router and working but NOT showing in the routers Web interface or in the mobile app

Surely everything connected to the network whether router or Satellite should display within a very short period of time

  • OK my Bad, Device said connected and working but it turns out it wasnt

Sorry for the wild goose chase
