I have two directly wired backhauls through MOCA

Hello similar experience they told me they would replace the 960s if I bought the 970s.

So I spent over $4,000 on the 970 system and then when I sent back to 960s they said... oh it's been more than one year now, sorry.

And then the 970s had a very similar issue where they would not all stay synced up and connected they would always drop one into a config sync status.

I have two directly wired backhauls through MOCA.

Very complicated but extremely horrible service from Netgear.  I made sure that my IT group never buys anything for Netgear for my company.

Extremely poor quality extremely poor customer service and extremely poor integrity.

Horrible experience

Maybe due to your MOCA adapters and blocking good data flow in between the RBR and RBS. If some data is blocked then the RBS can't fully sync properly.

Do the RBS fully sync when wirelessly connected to the RBR?

Try a RBS directly ethernet connected behind the RBR and check for full sync status.

What FW version do you have?

    How many RBS are deployed?

What is the size of the home in sq feet?

What is the distance between the router 📡 and satellite(s)🛰️? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR 📡 and RBS 🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.

I and know of others with this system with ethernet connected RBS and have zero problem syncing RBS. Though I for one don't use MOCA. I believe others don't as well. Be sure to due more diligence in testing before blaming NG.

Would be useful to know which specific MoCA adapters are in use.

I used MoCA for some time to connect a Tivo receiver, Tivo remote, and their internet connection to my router.  Switched to Powerline because I did not have coax to a specific location, and found that Powerline fell short.  Using WiFi backhaul to satellites now - sigh.

Do the satellites function correctly using the WiFi backhaul and go into config sync when they are connected to MoCA?
