On teams meetings connection dies and then reconnects

I've been having the same issues.  On teams meetings connection dies and then reconnects. Kids in the middle of gaming connection dies and they get kicked out.    Firmware is up to date. Spoke to support today - they just had me re-update the firmware manually on the satellite.......       I don't think it has anything to do with satellite issues.   I think there is an issue in the software/firmware with handshakes that causes intermittent connectivity loss.   A real disappointment with the cost and advertised capability of these units.      Are we going to get a fix anytime soon?

I also saw the string with the engineer who says he may have a beta fix - I'd love to get it.

  • What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.
    How many RBS are deployed?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?

What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR📡 and RBS🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.

Does this happen with the RBS turned OFF?
Does this happen with both wireless and wired devices?
What channel configurations are currently set on the router?

Is SIP ALG Enabled or Disabled on the RBR? Try the other setting as a quick test.

      Thanks for the reply

It’s Verizon fiber. 1gig Cables are good.
1 main router and 1 satellite

House 3600 square feet strong signal everywhere. Appropriate spacing between RBS.

      SIP ALG disabled.

Have not tried to turn satellite off and see if it happens.

Let us know if this still happens with RBS OFF.
