ORBI R760R with one satellite

I have bought the ORBIRR760R less than 6 months ago to replace another ORbI with wife issues.

A week ago it was in and out of the internet. My service provider spent then one hour and more with me in the phone to do a factory reset to check the setting, unplugged the modem, router, satellite.

It worked. Yesterday morning Orbi went offline and then it came back with the central unit, but the satellite went off. I reset the satellite, then unplugged everything multiple times, etc with no success. Only the area close to the central has WIFI.

It also disconnects from the phone wifi and cuts it out.

I read the notes in the community chat to FURRRYe38 etc and followed their steps.

This morning I unplugged everything including the cables and restarted the modem the central unit, etc. it worked for a little moment and then the satellite was out again, then the phone went off, and now it is in again, I restarted the modem, the ORBI and write from desktop and the satellite cannot be detected by the ORBI app.

What else is there to do?

Thx

  • Does the front LED on the RBR/RSX turn PINK when this happens?

What Firmware version is currently loaded on the RBR and RBS?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.

    How many RBS are deployed?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router 📡 and satellite(s)🛰️? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR 📡 and RBS 🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.

Does this happen with the RBS turned OFF?
Does this happen with both wireless and wired devices?
What channel configurations are currently set on the router?

Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

Be sure to disable any MAC Address randomizers on phones and pads while at home:

Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, IPv6, Smart Parental Controls or Circle, Traffic Meter.

I hope that is a typo. We can't give help for "wife" issues.
