RBE971 and 2 satellites - Cannot connect Google Home - "Turn off AP isolation...?
Hello,
I've been using the new Orbi 970 series BE27000 Mesh System for just under 2 months now and it seems like I've just experienced one problem after the other.
My recent issue, which brings me here to this forum today, is that I can no longer connect my Google Nest mini device and am unable to connect a new Google Nest Hub that I just bought.
I also want to say that the Google Nest mini was already part of my Google Home group, up and running on the Orbi wifi network, but after having issues trying to set up the new Google Nest Hub, I decided to remove all of my Google home and other smart home devices from my Google Home app and set it all up from a blank slate.. Ugh.hh, bad move... it's been over 5 hours now, and I'm still trying to get it all set back up. I started using the IoT network for everything, because I thought that would be a more secure choice for me smart lights, Arlo camera, home speakers, etc.. but When I got to getting my Sonos Move connected, I had issues removing it from the main wifi network and connected to the IoT network. Then, when I tried to set the Nest Mini up, again, a message appeared saying that both the Google Nest and my phone needed to be on the same wifi network to work, so then I tried again to my main wifi, and that didn't work either.
I've attached the error message I am seeing in the Google Home app after setting up either the Nest Mini or the Nest Hub, both give the same error.
They both connect to wifi, but neither will appear on the list of devices on the Google Home app.
Please let me know any other info you might need and thanks for any help anyone can offer!
I spent hours trying to fix this issue only to find out that uninstalling and reinstalling Google Home and accepting all of the permissions when reinstalling resolved everything. I was changing all kinds of router settings I saw posted on user forums this afternoon only to find out in the end that the issue had nothing to do with my router. Others may want to give this a try if they come across this thread.

Attached is the screenshot of the error message from the Google Home app, after I connect to Nest and/or Hub to either wifi network, standard and IoT.
"Connect to same Wi-Fi"
"Your Next Mini was setup successfully but can't be found. Make sure your mobile device and Nest Mini are on the same Wi-Fi network.
Turn off AP isolation
If AP isolation is enabled on your Wi-Fi router, you will need to disable it. Learn more here."
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?I would consult with Google about that error as they would know more about that since it there product.

I don't understand how the Nest Mini worked on this setup until I removed it. It's been working with the Orbi for almost 2 months now. When I first added it, I was using the Linksys Velop Mesh network, then I moved to the Deco mesh network and now the Orbi 970. It worked fine on all three of them but and I never had an issue removing and then readding it until the Orbi network.
Thanks again for help out!

Glad it wasn't a orbi issue. Please mark your thread as solved so others will know. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
