WAND Disconnects (Hunter Irrigation)
I've had a Hunter WAND WiFi module in my X2 controller (irrigation system) since 2024 and it seems that after the latest RBE972S (Orbi 970/Orbi 971) firmware updates to Version 12.1.10.12, the WAND WiFi module randomly disconnects. The NETGEAR firmware update solved a number of prior problems (Google Pixel 10 smartphone) but the WAND WiFi module disconnects seem to have started after the latest firmware update. I've spent a fair number of hours attempting to resolve this problem going thru all of Hunter's recommendations and went so far as to purchase a new WAND module. No joy, the WiFi module seems to be losing the Internet connection but none of my other 30 connected devices are experiencing a similar problem. I have a full strength 100% WiFi signal at the module since the Orbi 970 Satellite is 50 feet from the irrigation system controller. I do notice in the Bluetooth interface, that after the disconnect and a subsequent reconnect in XXX seconds, the Internet connection is Poor (14%) with the Hunter Hydrawise controller is marked Failed. Anybody experiencing a similar issue with the WAND module for Hunter X2 Controllers?

Does this happen if you connect this one devices to the Main WLAN, IOT or Guest network?
This the only device this is happening with?
Does this happen with the device if you bring it near the RBR just to test and see if it keeps connected?
Can you get this controller a bit close to the remote RBS to check and see if it still happens or not?
The disconnects are with my only network which I presume is the main WLAN. I am planning on connecting it to the Guest network (once I turn it ON) to see if that changes anything. This is the only device I am having disconnect issues with since the latest firmware update took care of the Google Pixel 10 Internet drops. Can't easily bring the irrigation system controller any closer to the satellite or the router. The satellite is on the other side of the garage (50 feet with a clear shot) and the router is probably 75 feet away inside the house (two walls intervening). The WiFi signal strength is reported in the Hunter Hydrawise app diagnostic as High with a 100% Internet connection when connected to my network which can be for a number of days. Why does it decide n number of days later to disconnect? Especially when it ran for two years with no problems.
Let me clarify some of the above. I am planning on connecting the WiFi module of the irrigation system controller to the Guest network. The signal strength has to be "5 bars" as they say since the Wifi module is only a three car garage distance away from the satellite. The satellite (RBS) is probably 175 feet away from the router (RBR) with the WiFi module separation distances mentioned in the previous posting but the WiFi module is slightly closer to the satellite than it is to the router. Once I've got the WiFi module connected to the network, it can be up to two days before I experience a WiFi disconnect. Sometimes it is only a few hours thus what I perceive as random disconnects. BTW, thanks for the interest - appreciated.
