2.4ghz slower speed on RAX80 AX8
MY ISP is 150MB down and on my previous Linksys router I could obtain that speed with no problem on the 2.4ghz band. ON my RAX 80 I can only get to 85MB on 2.4ghz, but no problem getting the 150MB on the 5ghz band. Any idea why so much slower on 2.4ghz? And yes, the router has updated firmware.

Potentially an interoperability issue between your 2.4 GHz client (802.11g, or 802.11n even if it's 802.11ac on 5 GHz) and the 802.11ax 2.4. GHz implementation. Ensure you run the current drivers on your wireless clients - check with the WiFi makers drive download sites as the computer vendors like Asus, Dell, HP; ... are ways behind with updating ("qualifying") drivers.
- Mark1281AspirantThanks, but I’ve done all that and no difference. Most of the clients are new and on prior router there was no issues.

So there can be interoperability issues - that's the risk of using the "latest" technology here. Your previous router was a WiFi6 (802.11ax) one on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz? Look, many Inhell 802.11n/802.1ac failed or badly struggled connecting reliably and on some standard performance against WiFi 6 access points before Intel has released driver updates.
"done all that" is rather useless - list the exact details of the WiFi interfaces in your devices and the driver versions for future reference.
