Confusing/conflicting technical specifications on the RAX75 specifications page...?

On the RAX75 technical specifications page (https://www.netgear.com/home/products/networking/wifi-routers/rax75.aspx)

Under the "WIFI TECHNOLOGY" section it says:

2.4GHz AX: 4x4 (Tx/Rx) 256 QAM 40MHz, up to 920Gbps

and then when you click "SHOW ALL TECH SPECS" and scroll down to the section "STANDARDS" it says

2.4GHz AX: 4x4 (Tx/Rx) 1024 QAM 40MHz, up to 1.2Gbps

Which is correct? Does anyone know?
Thanks!

  • In case they make 920 Gb/s om 2.4 GHz I am going to take some 8-)))))

The RAX75 is a software-wise "scaled down" variant of the RAX80 - the 2.4 GHz AX interface is limited to 256 QAM, so  "only" 0.92 Gb/s - and intended for specific sales channels like Costco. 4.8 + 0.92 makes 5.7 or AX5700.

The "2.4GHz AX: 4x4 (Tx/Rx) 1024 QAM 40MHz, up to 1.2Gbps" is wrong, and applies to the RAX80 only.

    The "2.4GHz AX: 4x4 (Tx/Rx) 256 QAM 40MHz, up to 920Gbps" is also wrong - it should be "2.4GHz AX: 4x4 (Tx/Rx) 256 QAM 40MHz, up to 0.920Gbps".

Netgear's CHT marketing is as poor as Netgear's CHT engineering and QA.

    Hello hctb,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I have notified the team to have this corrected. The correct information is listed below:

    2.4GHz AX: 4x4 (Tx/Rx) 256-QAM 40MHz, up to 920Mbps

    5GHz AX: 4x4 (Tx/Rx) 1024-QAM 160MHz, up to 4.8Gbps

    Regards,
