Low speeds for my brand new modem
Just bought htis router/modem and am getting just 180 Mbps WIRED direct ot the unit... I have 1.2 Mbps plan with Xfinity... Already spent several hours with the internet service provider on the phone and had visits from 2 technicians from Xfinity ... Not sure what I can do anymore... Should I return the modem and get another one?

Did they ever re-provision it for you? I've seen them send the wrong provisioning file before.
How are you testing speeds?
yes they did. my laptop is directly wired to the modem. I am testing using xfinity's speed meter and also used ookla. Same results. Very few devices are connected to this modem.
