Nighthawk RAX45 / Physical network not working.
Hello Everyone,
Another problem arose after plugging in the new nighthawk.
My physical network 192.168.xxx.xxx which goes to port one on my JGS524Ev2 and is trunked is now not working. I have it (the ethernet cable) plugged into a physical port on the router but it's not working at all and I am not sure why Can any give me some ideas on what to troubleshoot? I have been working and troubleshooting for about an hour and a half now. I cannot figure out the problem.

Hey Guys,
I figured out the problem, I had it set for tagged instead of untagged. Once I set it to untagged the Physical network came up and started communicating.

Have you tried a different device in that port?
Or tried switching the switch to a different port?
I haven't as of yet. However, the link light on both ends shows green. I would think that means it's good. I have had the switch set up for a few years with the same config and never had a problem. So I am not sure what is going on with it.

Thats why its worth trying a different device.
to see if its actually a problem with the router or a setting on the switch.
You said the RAX is new so maybe its something you had setup prior on the switch.
