Nighthawk RAXE500
Has anyone had success connecting Feit smart dimmer switch to their NETGEAR RAXE500 Nighthawk router? Feit app always times out on me without connecting.
- Thanks for the info. Got it connected this morning. The issue turned out to be the app on my IPhone. Put the app on a android tablet and it connected the smart switches with no issue.

Did you have Smart Connect enabled? Try SC disabled and then connect your setup mobile device to the 2.4Ghz radio with your IoT device.
Might contact the Mfr of this IoT device for help and information regarding there product. May not be alot of people with this device and this router.
- ChillyWilly66AspirantYes, tried both with Smart Connect on and off. Tried disabling 5g and 6g. Contacted Mfr and tried many setting changes suggested by them with no luck.
Something the Mfr will need to help you with then.

I've had a feit connected to my RAXE500 before.
I switch routers a lot and had it connected to the prior one. When I switched over to the RAXE, it auto-connected without issues.1. what modem is the RAXE connected to?
2. Have you tried setting up a hotspot with the same exact ssid/password as the router, then turn the router off and connect the dimmer to the hotspot. Once its setup, disable the hotspot and turn the router back on. It should auto-connect.

Glad you got it working. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
