RAX 200 not receiving IP from modem

Hi all,
I have a Rax200 and it was running fine until last night. I restarted the modem cm1200, waited 2 minutes and did the same with the router. Logged in using 192.168.1.1 and couldn’t finish the setup due to no internet detected.

I have an Ethernet cable connected from WAN port to the first port on CM1200. Went into router settings and noticed I’m not getting an IP address, subnet etc from modem. I tested by plugging directly into the modem and had internet.

No firmware update available
Anything else you guys would suggest? Thanks for your help

Edit—-
Also tried changing the setting to static ip and dns. To match the info I got from ipconfig while connected to modem.

  • I've got a similar setup. I've got the RAX200 and the CM1100.

power them both off and unplugg everything from both (including coax).

hook the coax back up to modem.

power the modem on and give it several minutes.

then connect the lan cord from port 1 on the cm1200 to the wan port on router. (don't use port aggregation)

power on the router. give it several minutes.

Then try setup. also during setup, ensure the wan port settings are set for using the wan port and not port aggregation or the multigig port.

Wow! You’re a life savor. I lost track of the amount of times I restarted and hours of web surfing.

      Thank you so much!
