Hi, I have XR700 and i want to use xr700 as my router in my home.I am from Portugal and i saw that ASUS as a Firmware to use ASUS routers instead of operators router. My operator is MEO in Portugal. Do Netgear Have any firmware for use in my rx700 to substitut MEO's router? Regards Paulo Sousa

We don't have specific firmware versions for different ISPs. What requirements do you need to obtain a straight connection without the ISP router? PPPoE, VLAN, DHCP 60/61?

I can putt router operator on bridge mode that allows me to gain control on Netgear router.how do i do PPPoE, VLAN, DHCP 60/61? Whats the difference between them? Regards

Yes you can do that easily. I was just wondering if there is a specific kind of connection method that you need but it sounds like you can obtain a connection without them already so thats good!
