I have XR700 and i want to use xr700 as my router in my home

Hi,

I have XR700 and i want to use xr700 as my router in my home.
I am from Portugal and i saw that ASUS as a Firmware to use ASUS routers instead of operators router.

My operator is MEO in Portugal. Do Netgear Have any firmware for use in my rx700 to substitut  MEO's router?

  • We don't have specific firmware versions for different ISPs. What requirements do you need to obtain a straight connection without the ISP router? PPPoE, VLAN, DHCP 60/61?

I can putt router operator on bridge mode that allows me to gain control on Netgear router.

how do i do PPPoE, VLAN, DHCP 60/61? Whats the difference between them?

Yes you can do that easily. I was just wondering if there is a specific kind of connection method that you need but it sounds like you can obtain a connection without them already so thats good!
