Disques de taille différentes en RAID 5 c'est possible ?

Bonjour a tous,

 

J'ai actuellement u RN104 avec 4X1TB en XRAID5

Cela me donne un stockage de presque 3TB

 

Que se passe t il si j'enleve un HD de 1TB et que je le remplace par un HD de 2TB ?

Vais je conserver mon RAID5 ? sera t il pris en compte comme 2TB ?

    It needs to be at least to to have increase in volume size.

     

    If you replace fewer disks than required for vertical expansion, the disks are reserved for data protection. Your available storage capacity does not increase to accommodate the reserved disks until you replace the required number of disks. 

     

    Please see How do I vertically expand an X-RAID 2 volume on my ReadyNAS OS 6 storage system? article. 

     

    This RAID calculator will also help you know how much volume you get with combination of different sizes.
