Access Point or CB modem/router bridge mode?
Recently purchased an R8500 and I am using that as a router with my c6300 is in bridge mode just providing internet. I have a single story condo so there is no problem with range, and I have recently wired the rooms with cat6 so all streaming/gaming devices are plugged in.
Should I be running the R8500 in AP mode and have my c6300 router turned on or with the c6300 in bridge mode and the R8500 is router mode?
Any benifits in performance?
The only benifit I can see is that I will have 3 extra ports on my c6300 available if I keep it running in router mode.
Any knowledgeable advice is appreciated.
Thank you

Put C6300 in DOCSIS BRIDGE Mode and Run R8500 in Router mode.
R8500 has quite a lot of features + It is higher end router in general.
