C3000 won't connect to internet
All,
I have internet when using an ethernet cable directly from the wall to my laptop, however I've been unable to get WiFi with this router. I plug the ethernet and coaxial cables into the back of the modem and the internet light will not come on. The downstream light blinks and the upstream light is off. My ISP does not block routers, I've called and they said I would need to disable Access Point mode. I've looked up how to do that, but can't find that anywhere in the Netgear Genie page. Have I done something wrong? I'm about to try a whole new router.

Hello HannahLesesne
If you are getting your internet out of the wall with a Ethernet cord then the C3000 will not work for you this is a modem with wifi functions and can not act as a router when connected to another connection. You will want to just get a router our router products all start wit Rxxxx.
