C3700 Ethernet Port Fail

Using successfully on Comcast, both WiFi and Ethernet Port1.

I have a Magic Jack connected to Port-1.

Tried connecting another Ethernet Device, my Laptop PC,  to Port-2. Doesn't work.

All LED's OK.

Swapped devices on Port-1 and Port-2. The problem stays with Port-2.

Now the Laptop works, but the Magic Jack doesn't. LEDs on Magic Jack are OFF.

I swap them back, and situation is as before.

This suggests to me that Port-2 is bad or, somehow, disabled.

Logged into http://RouterLogin.net.

Everything looks OK to me, but I'm no expert.

I see IP Addresses listed as being attached to both Port-1 and Port-2.

One is my Laptop and the other is what I presume to be the Magic Jack (listed as a ReadySHARE (Internal Server).

This suggests to me that the C3700 knows that something is attached.

I looked at the pins on the RJ-45 Jack. None look bent out of shape.

Any ideas?

Is Port-2 Damaged?

Is there a configuration that I should check?

Does NETGEAR offer a 'SWAP' Replacement, through RMA process?

Thanx -
