C3700 Won't Connect with TWC
I just had a C3700 replaced under warranty, and when I got the replacement in the mail it wouldn't connect to my Time Warner Cable internet service. Everything appears to boot up and I can access the router through routerlogin.net, but the internet connection light keeps blinking. Time Warner Cable ended up sending a tech out, and he said that everything was okay on their end and it must be the my modem.
What could the issue be? With my original modem there was never any trouble at all connecting with TWC.
The model is C3700-100NAS, firmware version 1.01.11. Thanks for any insight.

I'm having frequent disconnects with my C3700. I'm on my second router, after the first arrived with what appeared to be a bad hardware port. Hope you find a solution. I'm on TWC in Charlotte, NC.
- Tj1130AspirantThanks, hope you find a solution as well.
Tj1130 Did you call TWC and provide them with the MAC address of your replacement? TWC needs it in order to authorize your modem to access their network.

TheEther Yes, we checked and rechecked the MAC address several times. I also tried resetting the device to its factory settings several times. After about 4 hours of troubleshooting with TWC and a few unhelpful phone calls with Netgear I decided to cut my losses and buy a new Motorola modem. I got it in the mail today and after registering it with TWC it worked with no problem.
