C6300 5GHz band stops working
Hi,
for the second time in a few days my brand new modem/router stopped broadcasting on the 5GHz band.
The SSID for the band is still broadcasted, I can connect, but if I inspect the connection it is on the 2.4GHz band.
Turning the 5GHz band off and on doesn't help.
Resetting the device doesn't help.
Unplugging it and keeping the power button pressed for 60sec does the trick.
Will be there a patch for this issue?
My ISP is Xfinity.

If the modem keeps doing this you may want to contact netgear support if your modem is still under warranty.

Question: are you saying that 5GHz Radio stops broadcasting and only way to get it back up turning off the modem and turning it back after 60s?
