C6300-no internet connection

I had a Netgear router/modem that has worked for the past year and a half. Yesterday, it no longer showed up in my network options. Contacted my internet provider and they said it was the router/modem. Bought a new router/modem today and cannot get it to connect to the internet. Any ideas?

    Hi schatzi,

    Good day!

    Welcome to NETGEAR Community!

We would need the following information, so I can offer you additional recommendations:

    1. What is the model of the new modem that you purchased?

    2. Did you contact your Internet service provider already to provision the new modem?

I look forward to your response.

    Regards,

    Did you buy the C6300?

If you have any splitters, amplifiers, or attenuators in line, remove them.

I'd also move the modem/router to right where the coax enters the home to ensure it isn't a wiring issue internal to the home.

Are you abel to access it via a hardwired (ethernet) connection?

If so, get a screen snip of the cable connections page and logs.
