C6300 Router/Modem stops working - needs reboot

My router stops working while on the internet. When I try to re-connect my home network is no longer available, although others in the neighberhood are. I am able to lock into Netgear75 - when it is available. This is password protected, but the password was visible to me at one time? and I used it. From there I can get into my router and reset it, otherwise I have no choise but to manually reboot it. This happens randomly and at least once a day. I changed the channel to 3 at one time to find a less busy one, but the "Upstream LED" is amber now all the time.

    Hello dknaggert

     

    Have you renamed the SSID from the default one that came with it? if not I would try that and reconnect to the network also you may want to update your wireless drivers on your PC if you are using one.
