C6300 Schedule Block - Blocking too much
Hi there,
I recently got a C6300. I'm trying to set a time block on some devices, and decided to opt for Service Blocking on the Router as it seems like the better option compared to OpenDNS Parental Controls.
I set the Phone and PC I want to block to have Static IP addresses (60 and 61) and then set my schedule, and finally set Block Services for the IP address range 60-61 for all services and ports.
The problem I'm having is that when this is set, it also blocks other devices. I have 2 Android phones which are working fine, but there is another PC and an Xbox (with IP addresses in the 20s) which are also being restricted, despite this not being set.
Anybody had this issue / have any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Hello TheTwoEggs
Have you tired to make sperate rules instead of using the IP range feature?

Hi Darren,
Thanks for your reply.
I just tried this tonight. Same setup, with the devices I want blocked set to IP address 100, 101 and 102, and the rest left on Auto and being given 24, and the devices including the Xbox are still being blocked from connecting to the internet. They connect to the wifi no problem, but no connection can be made to the internet (The same asif you block all TCP/UDP ports on a PC).
Any other thoughts? Really hoping I can get this working.
