C6300 SMB access disabled by latest Windows 10 (1709)
With the recent Windows 10 update (1709) SMB 1.0 is now disabled. This has cut off access to the ReadySHARE drive attached to my C6300BD. I could enable/install SMB 1.0 on Windows 10 but would rather not.
When can we expect an update to SMB 2 or greater for this device? The one I have was sold by COX so I imagine a firmware update would have to come from them?
Could I load a generic firmware using these instruction below? The COX firmware does not allow changing DNS servers. :(

Yea all firmware on cable modems is pushed via the ISP no way to manual update or downgrade.
