C6300 won't connect to 2.4g (5g is fine)
I am trying to install a device and somehow when it is scanning for networks, it won't detect my 5G connection, only my 2.4G connection. But when I tried to connect to the 2.4G, it keeps giving me "connection failed". I checked my password and I am sure I have it right (it is the same password as my 5G). I tried to connect to 2.4G via my computer and phone and also failed. I have powered off the modem/router and turned it back on already.
I remember my 2.4G worked last year, so somewhere between this year and last, something went wrong, but I didn't touch the settings at all. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks!

Have you tried to change the security type and password for the device? also tell your devices to forget the network because they could be trying to use old settings.DarrenM
