C7000 drops connection please help
Members,
I have the Nighthawk C7000 ( this is actually my second one) and I've noticed that during the day it will drop off the network and will take a few minutes to re connect. I returned the first device I had b/c of this and now the new one is doing the same thing. If I use the modem/router provided by Comcast it doesn't drop connection. Should I return this device and look into something else? Current firmware installed is V1.01.19

Having the same problem. Netgear just replied "Based on the product registration, your device is already out of 90-day complimentary support." :catmad:

When you say drop off the network are you meaning the wireless drops off or the whole modem loses internet? If it just the wireless have you tried to adjust the wireless channel that the modem is using?

Just wireless. This issue is described by many customers in the community. Some are very detailed.
I don't know what you mean by adjusting the channel.
I'm a consumer, not a network engineer and I expect that my modem/router would work nicely out of the box as it's the same device.
If you have any specific suggestions, please share.
