C7000 drops connection while Xbox One is Harrdwired
When I play Xbox one "BattleField" online two things will happen, 1) i will be disconnected from chat and it will say "Network settings are preventing you to chat" and 2) the screen will freeze and then the connection will drop. I've performed the port forwarding for the Xbox and still experience an issue everytime i play online. I have contacted the internet provider and they state all is well but there maybe an issue with the Modem. I purchased this C7000 back in April (Of course out of warranty)

I liked our port forwarding guide for xbox and also how to put the xbox in the DMZ see if that resolve the issue.

- famousstar18AspirantI tried both of those, but I think the problem is with the netgear c7000, all rooms (equipped with fire sticks) are dropping connection or going through a major lag. My internet is at 300mbps which is more that enough. It's unfortunate due to the amount of money spent on the that Modem.

If you believe there is a hardware issue with the modem and its still under warranty I would contact Netgear support.
