C7000 Port 8080

Hi everyone!  i am trying to control my DirecTV over port 8080.   I have created a static IP for my DirecTV and enabled TCP/UDP port forwarding of 8080 to the DirecTV static address.  When I tried to control it using the weblink below while on LAN (ie. home internet), it paused the device.  However, when I tried it over the WAN (ie. cell phone), it did not pause the device.  I checked an online port client, and it reports that 8080 is blocked.  I talked to my Internet Provider (ie. Cox) and 8080 is one they allow.  Any ideas how to get this port open? Or steps I may be missing?

Of note, when I enabled Remote Management to Everyone and checked the online port client, it noted 8080 was open.  However, I know this is a security issue so I turned it off.

As usual, showing actual actions with their actual results (error
messages, reports, ...) can be more helpful than vague descriptions or
interpretations.  Copy+paste the actual port-forwarding rule and address
    reservation?

I understand why you might not want to reveal it, but not showing the
actual "ipaddress" in your URL means that we must trust you that it's
the right one.  Does that URL work from your LAN?

Yeah, I was just told never to share ip addresses.  But the command does work within the LAN, just not the WAN.  And I have Port Forwarding open.

           Still waiting.

Perhaps.  I want to see the evidence.

Which "the command", exactly, works on the LAN?  A URL with the LAN
address, or a URL with the WAN address?  If port forwarding is working,
then both should work from the LAN.

        > Yeah, I was just told never to share ip addresses.

Fine.  But hide that one datum, not all the data.  Copy+paste remains
        your friend.
