C7000v2 issues

The C7000v2 is a great modem/router. However, I am not sure if this is a bug due to the firmware but recently I am running into this issue where I have to reset the router every 30 minutes to keep a good connection. Failing to do so causes my speeds to stutter. For instance, when I play rainbow 6 siege, I will be fine after the router reset but then after 30 minutes or so, I start to lose packets. Are there any settings that I should do to change this? I get that routers or modems need to be reset from time to time but every 30 minutes?! The Xfinity router would usually need a reset every 2 days or so and I really do not want to go back to that router since I hate paying that 13 dollars per month of rent.

Is this with a wired or wireless connection? Wired is preferred.

Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in between the modem and ISP service box.

Have your ISP check the signal and line quality up to the modem.

Turn off the wifi radios on the C7000 temporarily to see if modem continues this problem or not.

Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

IF this happend with a different modem, then this maybe a problem with the line service or something in your environment.

Wait, how does a coax cable line splitter cause issues? Also, it is funny that as soon as I switch back to the Xfinity router, my wifi works just fine. It is like Xfinity is bottlenecking the custom routers so that you are almost forced to use theirs and pay that 13 dollar fee per month. Cause I tested other routers as well. All the same issue.

Splitters can reduce the line single to a modem or induce noise on the line.

What do you mean by the xfinity router? There modem?
