C7000v2 Keeps Resetting

Question

I've been experiencing this issue for months now that randomly, there's no fixed time when this happens could be 10pm could be 6am. My C7000v2 router will reset. It won't lose power, but almost all the lights on the front go compeltely yellow for a few seconds then turn off, the power light remains on and green, but router then spends a couple minutes rebooting and after a couple minutes the internet comes back as normal. It can do this anywhere from 1 to 6 or 7 times a day. I've reseated the power, ethernet, and coax cables on both ends of the device and the other ends, making sure everything is fully plugged in and there's no rips or bends in any of the cables. I've tried powercycle the device, I've factory reset the device. I've done an ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew and nothing resolves the issue. I've consutlted Xfinity support on the issue and they can't recommend anything I haven't tried

I can't afford another router and desperately need to get this fixed.

Log into the device a take a screen snip of the event log and the cable connections page.&nbsp;
Those can tell us if there's line issues causing it or if the reset signal is being sent by the ISP or CMTS.

Seems like your logs are clearing out in the reboot. that makes it more of a challenge because now we're just guessing.&nbsp;
1 thing you can try is if you have a seperate power supply sitting around that has the same voltage and polarity and AT LEAST the same amperage rating (it can have more but not less), try that. Maybe the power supply is going out and failing under load/heat.&nbsp;
